Manchester United target agrees summer departure from Real Madrid
Fabio Coentrao is set to join Monaco on loan
FABIO COENTRAO is set to join Monaco on a year-long loan deal.
 
The Portugal full-back has agreed to leave Real Madrid and will replace Lavyin Kurzawa at the Stade Louis II, according to Spanish paper AS
Kurzawa has joined Paris Saint-Germain with Lucas Digne moving to Roma on loan.
 
Coentrao was wanted by Manchester United last summer and under David Moyes but the Old Trafford club failed to push through a deal.
The 27-year-old is behind Marcelo in Rafa Benitez's pecking order and wanted to move for first-team football.
Monaco, having lost to Valencia on aggregate in the play-offs, will play in the Europa League this season.
