NICO GAITAN is close to joining Italian champions Juventus, according to reports in Portugal.
The Benfica winger has been linked a move to Manchester United for several years and after losing out to Chelsea for Pedro, the possibility of a deal for 27-year-old increased.
Earlier this summer Gaitan rejected a transfer to Dubai-based club Al-Ahli as he waited for an offer from one of Europe's big clubs.
And according to Portuguese publication A Bola it appears Gaitan is on the verge of move to Italy.
The report quotes sources at Portuguese news channel TVI 24 who say a deal is being negotiated to Juventus by Doyen investment fund.
