Manchester United aim to complete £12m defender deal before deadline day
Manchester United want £12m for Jonny Evans
MANCHESTER UNITED have slapped a £12million price tag on defender Jonny Evans.

The Northern Ireland defender has fallen down Louis van Gaal's pecking order after a series of injuries and poor disciplinary last season.
The Dutchman was unimpressed with his part in the Papiss Cisse spitting incident, which saw him banned for six matches.

Evans has started the season behind Daley Blind, Chris Smalling, Paddy McNair and Marcos Rojo with Phil Jones and Tyler Blackett to return from injury.
He has been linked with a move to West Brom and to Everton during the transfer window, but United's price may put suitors off.
Evans has been at Old Trafford his whole career, making his first team debut in 2006 against Coventry in a League Cup tie, he spent time on loan at Sunderland and Royal Antwerp in Belgium.
He has made 198 appearances for the club and has won three Premier League titles, the Club World Cup, two League Cups and four Community Shields.
