Man Utd Transfer News: Shock City and Chelsea Pedro bids, Ramos U-turn, LvG on De Gea
David De Gea (centre) did not play for Man Utd against Tottenham last weekend
NEWS NEWS BLOG SPORT brings you all the latest transfer news from Old Trafford.

Manchester City and Chelsea are ready to hijack Manchester United's bid for Pedro.
United are known suitors of Barcelona winger Pedro but are yet to trigger his £21.4million release clause.

They are expected to secure the transfer before deadline day but it appears neither Chelsea nor City have given up hope on a rival bid.
United are favourites to land the player but City have offered £22.8m for the ace, Bleacher Report quote Liga football expert Guillem Balague as saying.
It is also claimed Chelsea, who are yet to make a big-money signing this summer, are in for Pedro but are lagging behind the two Manchester clubs in their pursuit.

Sergio Ramos agreed a £200,000-a-week contract at Manchester United before turning it down, Metro quote Cadena COPE as reporting.
Ramos, 29, was touted to join United from Real Madrid this summer.
But a transfer fee could not be agreed and instead Real moved this week to shore up the defender's contract - reportedly worth £123,000 a week after tax.

Louis van Gaal is amazed his goalkeeper David De Gea refused to play against Aston Villa tonight.
The Red Devils travel to Villa Park for the 7:45pm kick off without their Spain international goalkeeper.
The Dutchman said: "We've talked with him and he was fully agreed with our decision. We have a goalkeeping coach, Frans Hoek, so I'm not doing everything alone.
"Frans had a meeting with David and he asked him, 'Do you want to play?' The answer was no.
"Then I have to take the decision. It is a process. We had been observing him in preparation, and he was not so good, he was not the same David De Gea as before, when he was my best player last season. According to the fans, he was the best player of the last two years."
