Man Utd Transfer News: Ambitious striker bid, De Gea revelation, £22m Pedro praise
Manchester United aren't giving up on Harry Kane just yet
NEWS NEWS BLOG SPORT brings you the latest transfer news coming out of Old Trafford.

Manchester United are reportedly readying a bid for Harry Kane.

The 22-year-old started up front for Spurs on Saturday, but was unable to prevent his side slipping to a 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford.
Though Spurs are adamant Kane is going nowhere this summer, Louis van Gaal is keen to add a stellar striker to his ranks.

And according to the Daily Mirror, United are readying a formal bid for Kane and have made discreet enquiries.
David De Gea reportedly still wants to be considered for selection despite his imminent exit from Old Trafford.
The Spanish shot-stopper has been widely tipped to join Real Madrid this summer.

Though Louis van Gaal has claimed De Gea's mind is elsewhere, the Mail on Sunday suggest that the 24-year-old was ready to play against Spurs.
The report suggests that at no point has De Gea refused to play for the club.
Van Gaal instead picked new signing Sergio Romero.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has described Pedro as the 'perfect team-mate'.
Henry played with Pedro during their time together at the Nou Camp.
And Henry has been full of praise for the winger, who is closing in on a £22m switch to Old Trafford.

"Manchester United will be getting an excellent player if they can complete the signing of Pedro,” Henry wrote in The Sun on Sunday.
“He was the perfect team-mate for me at Barcelona because his understanding of wing play was second to none."
