IN POSSIBLY one of the oddest celebrity pairings in a while, rumours are rife that Ed Sheeran is dating former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger.
It has been reported that the two have been on a series of pub dates after they met in London
She apparently told Ed, 24, that she listened to his songs repeatedly to help deal with her heartbreak.
Nicole, 37, is thought to have first reached out to the Thinking Out Loud singer following her breakup with her former beau F1 driver Lewis Hamilton.

The former X Factor judge shared a picture on Instagram of the two of them backstage at an events three weeks ago with the caption: "Okay okay you win @edsheeran, you’re taller."
The pair were also seen together at local pub The Station Hotel in his hometown of Framlington in Suffolk, where they were photographed.
She is also said to have dedicated songs to him at private gigs while he has written lyrics for her. But their fledging romance is said to be in the "early stages".
"As far as he’s concerned they were in the early stages of dating and he’s been open about it with close friends and colleagues. It may not develop beyond those dates but they’re definitely tight," a source told the Sun.
"A friend of Nicole’s added: “They’re extremely close. Nicole says he is the male version of her", the insider added.
Nicole's on-off relationship with Lewis, 30, came to an end earlier this year and he has since been spotted cosying up to Rihanna while holidaying in Barbados.
Most recently the sports star was seen on board a luxury yacht chatting and enjoying drinks with the pop star.
