West Ham linked with £8m bid for Roma's Adem Ljajic |
The Hammers are keen to bolster their attack before tomorrow's 6pm deadline, and reports in Italy suggest they're willing to pay £8million to land Ljajic.
The 23-year-old Serbian joined Roma just two years ago, but is surplus to requirements following the arrivals of Mohamed Salah and Edin Dzeko at the Stadio Olimpico.
Ljajic is also believed to be a target for Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool, who now look set to miss out on his services.
La Gazzetta claim West Ham initially wanted Alessandro Matri, but the AC Milan striker appears to be on the verge of joining Lazio instead.
The Hammers are also expected to welcome Chelsea winger Victor Moses on loan for the 2015/16 season as well as Hull striker Nikica Jelavic.
Upton Park boss Slaven Bilic is currently without injured forwards Enner Valencia and Andy Carroll.
