Man United set to launch £36.5m bid for Aymeric Laporte after Ramos and Otamendi snubs
Manchester United have reignited their interest in Aymeric Laporte
MANCHESTER UNITED are considering another move for Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte, according to reports.

Ed Woodward was in the crowd last night as Bilbao took on Barcelona - principally to watch Pedro - and cast his eye on the 21-year-old.

Laporte signed a new deal this summer, which saw the inclusion of a £36.5million buyout clause, but is still being considered by United, according to the Daily Mail.

The France under-21 star can also play at left-back and Louis van Gaal is known to be keen on adding a left-sided central defender.
He currently only has Daley Blind as a left-footed option in defence, along with Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Jonny Evans and Paddy McNair who are all right footed.

United have yet to concede a goal in their two games so far this season but were desperate to sign Sergio Ramos and considered a move for Nicolas Otamendi.
Ramos penned a new deal at the Bernabeu and Otamendi is close to a switch to Man City.
United are expected to close out a deal for Pedro before the weekend.
