MANCHESTER CITY have announced the signing of Spanish midfielder Aleix Garcia.
The Spain U18 winger has completed a move thought to be in the region of £2.1 million according to Manchester Evening News, after the youngster took to Twitter to announce his move.
Garcia posted: "Begins a new stage at Manchester City, thanks for all my family at Villareal."

The midfielder made his La Liga debut for Villareal as a substitute in the last 13 minutes of last season, during a 4-0 defeat to Athletic Bilbao.
Manuel Pellegrini managed Villareal between 2004 and 2009 and Garcia is said to be one of the first recruitments he made into the youth set-up.
Garcia joined the La Liga club when he was just eight years old and has played for the club's B and C teams since he was 16.

City have reportedly agreed a £58million deal for Wolfsburg midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.
The Dutchman has been linked with a move to Manchester United and Bayern Munich this summer but reports in Germany suggest City have smashed their club-record fee in order to sign him.
