Arsene Wenger admits he is eyeing some new faces at Arsenal

ARSENE WENGER wants to sign some new players before the transfer window slams shut next Tuesday.

The £10million capture of Petr Cech from Chelsea remains Arsenal's only piece of incoming transfer business so far this summer.
However, the Gunners boss is not finished yet and revealed his desire to bring someone in.

While he refused to be drawn on any particular names, the Frenchman admits he has "specific" players lined up.
Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema is understood to be a target despite ruling himself out of a move.
Edinson Cavani from PSG has also been linked to the Emirates.

“It’s a little bit of both," Wenger said when asked if he had any players in mind.
“You have specific targets but as well sometimes you get an idea from somebody where you didn’t know that a player that you like was available.
“If you get an opportunity like that you do it.
“At the moment I cannot say I’m very confident [of landing one of those specific targets] because we are not close to signing anybody.”
