NEWS NEWS BLOG SPORT brings you the latest transfer news coming out of Anfield.
Milan will discuss terms with Liverpool midfielder Lucas ahead of a transfer tomorrow.
The Brazilian's agent is reportedly preparing to fly to Italy tomorrow and open negotiations over a contract, claim Gazzetta dello Sport.
Lucas, 28, is expected to leave Liverpool after a row with manager Brendan Rodgers and may cost Milan up to £5m.
He was left out of the squad for the Reds' trip to Stoke last weekend and is not expected to be selected for Monday's clash with Bournemouth.
Jose Enrique says he has been "alienated" at Liverpool but insists he will fight for his place at the club.
The left-back, 29, is being monitored by suitors in Spain.
And he concedes he has been cast aside along with Italian strikers Mario Balotelli and Fabio Borini.
“I’m in a difficult position,” Enrique told Marca. “The club have alienated Balotelli, Borini and me.
"I have a year left on my contract and I imagine the club will want to sell, but I still want to stay and fight as I always have.
"I will not give up. I know from experience that football changes from day to night.”
Luis Suarez insist it was the right decision to force through a £75million transfer away from Liverpool.
The striker, 28, quit Anfield for Barcelona last summer and has gone on to win the Liga, Copa de Rey and Champions League titles.
He helped Barca beat Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup last night and said afterwards he doesn't regret joining the Nou Camp club.
“It was the right decision," he said.
"Winning trophies was a part of my decision in joining Barcelona, but also as a family we knew it was the right decision even before I won a trophy.
"I am very happy at Barcelona – I am at the best club in the world.”
