| Taiwo Awoniyi will sign for Liverpool today |
LIVERPOOL hope to secure the signing of Taiwo Awoniyi from Imperial Academy this afternoon.
The Reds believe they have beaten Porto and Monaco to the 18-year-old's signature.
The Nigeria forward, however, will not be granted a work permit to play in England and will be sent out on loan immediately.
According to the Daily Mail Liverpool will pay an initial £800,000 with the fee rising to £3m depending on performance.
Liverpool striker Fabio Borini is currently having a medical at Sunderland.
