MARIO BALOTELLI and Fabio Borini will both move back to Italy on loan, according to reports.
Balotelli has been linked with a move to Sampdoria, while Borini could move to Fiorentina.
Sunderland are also said to be keen on bringing Borini, 24, back to the club where he spent the 2012-13 season on loan.
And the Black cats may yet be in pole position after the Italian's move back home appeared to hit a snag due to his wage demands.
Meanwhile, Balotelli, 25, was the subject of an approach from Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero, according to Italian publication Il Fatto Quotidiano.
Team-mate Jose Enrique, who is also set to leave Anfield, has claimed the pair have been treated unfairly.
All three were left out of Liverpool's pre-season preparations and their days at the club appear to be numbered.
Alberto Moreno is another whose future remains uncertain but he insists he will stay and fight for his place.
The Spain international, 23, also found time to leap to the defence of Balotelli, claiming he could become a great striker if manager Brendan Rodgers gave him a chance.
Rodgers has brought in seven new players this summer in a bid to propel his side back into the Champions League after a disappointing sixth-placed finish last season.
