Jose Mourinho taunts Arsene Wenger over poor record ahead of Community Shield showdown
Jose Mourinho is in good spirits ahead of the Community Shield clash with Arsenal
JOSE MOURINHO last night delivered a pointed barb to Arsene Wenger as he insisted that if he had not won for 13 games against his bitter rival he would find a solution.

Mourinho’s Chelsea and Wenger’s Arsenal meet tomorrow at Wembley in the Community Shield curtain-raiser to the season in a game that is likely to be anything but a friendly.
But as Wenger celebrated the news of new deals for key players Theo Walcott and Santi Cazorla, and Chelsea stood on the brink of completing a £17million deal for Augsberg defender Baba Rahman, the war of words between the pair carried on before the season itself had even properly started.
Wenger has not beaten Mourinho in 13 matches since the Portuguese arrived in English football in the summer of 2004.

Mourinho, who has already had a verbal joust this week with Wenger over spending, said of that 13 game record: “I would ask myself ‘why?’. I would to try to find an answer – not because of a mental block but because I would want to try to find solutions to help my team. Try to find different way, to find the reason why it goes against my team all the time.
“I have not had a run like that against another manager. I don’t know about the future. I have lost twice against Tony Pulis, once when he was at Crystal Palace and once against West Bromwich.
“But I don't think about what has happened before, I just think about the game. For me, six, seven, eight or nine matches without losing makes no difference, and does not affect this game. There is no relation with what happened before.

“I never thought about the differences between us. I don’t think about it until about a couple of weeks before I play his team. I try to understand what he is thinking, what is his game plan.”
Chelsea last night agreed terms with Augsberg for the move of Ghanian international defender Rahman, 21, and expect in the next 48 hours to complete their fourth signing of the summer, after striker Radamel Falcao, goalkeeper Asmir Begovic and midfielder Danilo Pantic.
Meanwhile, Walcott has signed a new four-year contract, putting him level with top earners Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez on £140,000-aweek. Spaniard Cazorla has signed a two-year extension to his current contract.
