Galaxy S6 edge+ we get our hands on Samsung’s fabulous phablet
We get our hands on the new S6 edge from Samsung
KOREAN tech giant announce new super-sized smartphone and here’s everything you need to know.

Apple did it, now arch-rivals Samsung are adding some extra girth to their flagship phone.
This new device looks identical to the stunning S6 edge, but there’s a big difference in size.
The S6 edge+ display measures in at a massive 5.7-inches which is over half an inch bigger than the standard S6 edge.
This may sound too big to handle, but having had our hands on one at today’s exclusive launch, we can reveal it actually looks and feels pretty good.
In fact, with its curved screen, light form factor and beautiful Quad HD AMOLED screen this is a serious contender in the phablet wars.

New features include live streaming to YouTube
The smaller S6 edge has already won a number of smartphone awards and we expect the S6 edge+ to collect some of its own gongs in 2015.
As well as a bigger screen there’s a fast Octa core processor tucked under the hood and two decent cameras including a 16-megapixel rear-facing snapper.
Samsung has included the ability to live stream footage to friends via YouTube on the edge+ and, from our brief test, it seems to work well.
The curved edge also gets some new features and now adds the ability for instant app access from a simple swipe on the side of the phone.
Juice is provided by a 3,000mAh battery, which Samsung say charges faster then any smartphone currently on the market and you can charge the phone wirelessly.

The edge+ will land in shops later this month in gold, white and black.
There’s no word on price yet but don’t expect it to be cheap.
The S6 edge is one of the most expensive smartphones on the market and Samsung are certain to want a premium price for this bigger version.
Samsung also launched an updated Note device today.
The new Galaxy Note 5 has a host of new features including better processor, camera and S-Pen.
