OUSSAMA ASSAIDI is linked with a return to the Premier League with newly promoted Norwich.
The Moroccan is currently at Al-Ahli Dubai, but Canaries boss Alex Neal is interested in a move for the former Reds man, according to the Daily Mirror.
Assaidi moved to Anfield from Heerenveen in 2012 for a reported £2.5million but made just 12 appearances for the Reds before enjoying a successful loan spell at Stoke.
The 27-year-old then completed a move to the Middle East in January this year but it's understood he is struggling with the hot temperatures and is keen for a move back to England.
Assaidi would provide added competition for Neil Redmond and Robbie Brady.
The Moroccan scored a memorable goal as he came of the bench to score the winner as Stoke defeated Chelsea 3-2 in December 2012.
Earlier today, Norwich also confirmed that defender Sebastien Bassong has committed his future to the club by signing a new contract that runs until the end of the 2016-17 season.
