Exclusive: John Stones begs Everton chairman Bill Kenwright for dream move to Chelsea
John Stones is expected to complete a move to Chelsea this week following months of speculation
JOHN STONES will beg Everton chairman Bill Kenwright to allow him to make his dream move to Chelsea this week.

As revealed by Sunday News News Blog Sport, the defender told manager Roberto Martinez at the end of last season that he was keen to talk to any interested clubs.

Chelsea have since made three bids – the last one £30million – which have all been turned down.

They are ready to make one final offer of around £36m and then expect the player to force through the transfer. Stones will officially ask to leave and take his request to join Chelsea to the Goodison board, who are unlikely to block it.
Kenwright knows that a British record deal for a defender is good business for a player picked up from Barnsley for just £3m. Barnsley insisted on a 15 per cent sell-on clause meaning Everton, to clear £30m from the deal, will demand around £36m from Chelsea.
