Diego Forlan admits Barcelona winger Pedro will sign for Manchester United
Diego Forlan says Pedro will be a great signing for Manchester United
DIEGO FORLAN has praised Manchester United's move for Barcelona's Pedro and admits the striker will sign.

United have been linked with a £22m deal for the Barcelona man and have already agreed personal terms with the 28-year-old, according to reports.
And Diego Forlan admits it would be a 'wise addition' to Louis van Gaal's squad, easing pressure on lone-man Wayne Rooney.

He wrote in his column for The National: "They look like they’re going to sign Pedro, from Barcelona, and that will be a wise addition.
"Pedro would be a versatile signing who can play in four or five positions, including the central striking role.

"I understand why United would be an attractive move to the Barcelona forward: United are another huge club who should play, and pay well."
And Forlan admits it's not just the money that will lure the Spain international to Manchester, revealing the motive that will most certainly seal the deal.
He added: "The 28-year-old Spain international should also find it easier to get into a side in transition than a team that already has Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar up front.

"He’ll move for more game time, which is exactly why I left United, a decision I never regretted.
"United had Ruud van Nistelrooy, Louis Saha, Solskjaer, Alan Smith and Cristiano Ronaldo when I departed."
The former Uruguay international made 63 league appearances for United, but managed only 10 goals before making a move to La Liga with Villarreal in 2004.
