Crystal Palace and West Ham on alert as Tottenham striker exit edges closer
Emmanuel Adebayor wants to stay in London after being told he's no longer needed at Tottenham
TOTTENHAM striker Emmanuel Adebayor wants to stay in London after being told to leave White Hart Lane.

Mauricio Pochettino revealed today that the Togo international will not play a part in his squad this season.
“Adebayor is not in my plans and he knows from the end of the last season,” Pochettino said.

“We spoke with him and with Aaron Lennon and it is all clear. There's nothing to say different to last week.”
Adebayor's options are fairly limited if he wants to stay in the capital as reports suggest, with Crystal Palace and West Ham the only two both linked with the forward this summer.

The 31-year-old was expected to complete a move to Aston Villa last week but the loan-move collapsed; with one of the reasons being his reluctance to leave London.
Pochettino also revealed that Roberto Soldado is free to move on having given him permission to speak with La Liga side Villareal.
