Cristiano Ronaldo pranked Madrid with his skills while disguised as a homeless man

HE'S one of the most talented and notorious football players in the world, but Cristiano Ronaldo disguised himself as a homeless man for a little kickabout on the streets of Madrid.

 

Ditching his celebrity persona to go incognito as a tramp, the 30-year-old Portugal captain pranked the unsuspecting Spanish public by showing off his infamous ball skills. 

The dashing Real Madrid player donned an unkempt brunette wig, wiry moustache and thick beard to obscure his chiselled face and a fat suit to swathe his muscular build.

Layering a pair of light grey jogging bottoms, a charcoal hoodie, a pair of trainers and some square-rimmed shades over his squishy physique, Cristiano then hit the streets of the Spanish capital with a little white dog in tow.

With the event secretly being filmed, Cristiano started to show off his legendary ball skills in the middle of the busy Plaza de Callao.

 

Surprisingly nimble and unhampered by his fat suit, the Ballon D'Or winner dribbles his way into people's paths in a bid for attention – but he's largely ignored for several hours.

A few indulge the vagabond in a pass or two, and some even seem entertained by the homeless man with world-class ball tricks.

When a young boy called Nicolas goes over to him and they kick the ball back and forth, the world-famous athlete decides that it's time to reveal his true identity.

Giving the boy an affectionate hug, he asks him his name and signs the football he'd been playing with to give to the young fan.

 

The international superstar then begins tearing off his fake beard and moustache while the child looks up in awe.

He is suddenly swarmed by fans screaming his name and trying to snap photos of him, while young Nicolas clutches the prized ball and wipes a tear from his eye. 

Meanwhile, Cristiano reportedly splashed millions of pounds buying an entire Greek island as a wedding present for his agent, Jorge Mendes and his bride Sandra Barbosa.

Ronaldo was given the honour of being best man while dozens of other celebrities also attended the event, including Sir Alex Ferguson, in Portugal on Sunday.
