HE'S an all-American boy and Matthew McConaughey couldn't have been prouder to see his wife Camila Alves become a US citizen too.
The 45-year-old actor couldn't resist posting a gushing tribute to his family on Twitter last night, following the special occasion.
Matthew posted a picture of himself with model Camila and their three children, Levi, seven, Vida, five, and Livingston, two, inside a courthouse – where Camila no doubt said her Pledge Of Allegiance.
The proud Hollywood heartthrob wrote: "Congratulations Camila on getting your U.S. citizenship today - another fellow and great American."
Brunette beauty Camila was born in Brazil and moved to Los Angeles at the age of fifteen.
After working for four years as a house-cleaner and waitress, she successfully learned English and decided to make the United States her home.
At 19, Camila moved to New York were she started her career as a fashion model.
The mother-of-three also couldn't hide her excitement at finally becoming a US citizen.
Sharing the same image as Matthew on Instagram, Camila said: "It is with great pride and honor that I am happy to say I now hold an American passport.
"I have so much respect and appreciation for this country... #newuscitizen."
Matthew and Camila married in June 2012, six years after they started dating.
The couple had already started a family by this point, with son Levi being born in July 2008 with daughter Vida following soon after in January 2010.
Youngest son Livingston was born in December 2012.
