WATFORD have completed the signing of Italian midfielder Alessandro Diamanti on a season-long loan, subject to receiving international clearance.
The 32-year-old playmaker has made the move from Chinese outfit Guangzhou Evergrande.
And coach Quique Flores will be hoping to draw on Diamanti's Premier League experience if Watford are to avoid relegation this year.
Diamanti spent the 2009/10 season with West Ham in the Premier League, scoring eight goals in 30 games and being voted runner-up for the Hammers' Player of the Year award.
The Italian, who has 17 caps for his country, spent the second half of last season on loan at Serie A side Fiorentina and has also previously played for fellow Italian clubs Bologna, Brescia and Livorno.
