Cristian Cuevas has gone on loan to Belgian Pro League side Sint-Truidense |
CHELSEA have loaned out left-back Cristian Cuevas to Belgian side Sint-Truidense for the entire season.
The 20-year-old joined from Chilean side O'Higgins in 2013 and is yet to make a senior appearance for the Blues.
And he has also had spells with Dutch teams Vitesse and FC Eindhoven, appearing 13 times for the latter in the Eerste Divisie - Holland's second tier. However, he has now finalised a deal to move to Belgian Pro league side Sint-Truidense, who won the second division title last term.
Chelsea tweeted: "Cristian Cuevas has joined Sint-Truidense on loan until the end of the season." Cuevas joins a host of Blues youngsters to be loaned out this term, with Isaiah Brown, Danilo Pantic, and new signing Nathan all being shipped out.
Last season he was loaned back to his home country and made four league appearances for Primera Division side Club Universidad de Chile.
