Club official confirms Manchester United goalkeeper deal is not happening
Manchester United have not made an approach for Jasper Cillessen
MANCHESTER UNITED have not approached Ajax to sign goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen.

The Holland international was linked with a move to Old Trafford throughout the summer amid the David De Gea exit rumours.
Ajax boss Frank De Boer even admitted that the club may struggle to hold onto their No1 if a big offer came in from United.

He said in earlier this month: "There are certain figures that we can't turn down. This far in the window, I hope we hear nothing any more from Manchester United."
And according to director of football Marc Overmars the Red Devils are yet to make a formal approach for the shotstopper.

He told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf: "There is no contact with Manchester United. I have heard nothing from Manchester United."
Louis van Gaal handed the goalkeeper his first international cap in 2013 and he is now a mainstay in the Dutch set-up, making 21 appearances.
