| Leicester City linked with Demarai Gray move |
LEICESTER CITY boss Claudio Ranieri has responded to rumours linking his side with a move for Birmingham’s Demarai Gray.
Reports surfaced yesterday that the Foxes had triggered the 19-year-old's £4.7million release clause.
Gray, who is also a target for Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool, only signed a new three-year deal at the club last month.
Ranieri is in the market for wide men this summer to provide competition for in-form wingers Riyad Mahrez and Marc Albrighton.
The Italian tactician refused to comment on any bid but admitted he admired Gray, who scored a screamer against his side in pre-season.
"I don't speak about speculation, only when a player arrives,” said Ranieri. "There are some good players like him but it is not only him."
St Andrew's boss Gary Rowett is determined to keep the England Under-20 winger, who made 43 appearances last season, scoring six goals.
