WOLFSBURG new-boy Dante asked to leave Bayern Munich in search of regular football, claims Bayern chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
 
The Brazil international has today completed his move to the Volkswagen Arena today on a three-year deal after passing a medical.
A Bayern statement read: "We want to say thank you to Dante. We got to know Dante as a very pleasant and likeable person. We wish him all the best for his future."

Bayern chairman Rummenigge says Dante had asked to be sold this summer after losing his place in the starting line-up.
The centre-half made a short farewell appearance for Bayern as a substitute in Saturday's 3-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen.
Bayern chairman Rummenigge said on the deal: “Dante simply wanted the chance to play regularly. We did not want to deny him this opportunity.”
