Bayern Munich are reported to have bid for Juventus attacker Kingsley Coman |
BAYERN MUNICH have made a £13million bid for Juventus attacker Kingsley Coman, according to reports in Italy.
Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport claim the Bundesliga giants want to prise another player from Juve after signing Arturo Vidal earlier in the summer.
Reports suggest Bayern have been tracking the France Under-21 international for two months and a deal could be closer than ever.
Arsenal have also been linked to Coman, with Gunners manager Arsene Wenger understood to be a keen admirer.
It was even believed they had made contact with the Serie A club but they could now be left disappointed in their pursuit.
The 19-year-old began his career in France with Paris Saint-Germain but opted to sign a five-year deal in Italy after his contract with the French giants expired in 2014.
His performances last season earned widespread praise and the youngster was even given a cameo appearance in Juve's Champions League final defeat to Barcelona in May.
Elsewhere, the news could come as a boost to Manchester United, who are tracking Bayern attacker Thomas Muller.
They are also reported to retain an interest in Mario Gotze and a deal for Coman could pave the way for either of the pair to leave the Allianz Arena.
