Arsene Wenger reveals update on late transfer swoop after Arsenal edge past Newcastle
Arsene Wenger is still seeking new recruits at Arsenal
ARSENE WENGER is willing to strengthen every part of his Arsenal squad before deadline day.

The manager spoke after the Gunners' 1-0 victory at Newcastle today.
Fabricio Coloccini's own goal earned Wenger victory at St James' Park and lifted his side up to fifth in the Premier League.

But the boss revealed after the game he is still searching for new recruits.
"We are open and we are in the transfer market," he said.

"If we find an exceptional player in any sector, we will do it.
"At the moment I don’t know if something will happen or not."
Arsenal are pursuing Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, although Wenger's interest appears to have cooled in recent weeks.

They also reportedly made contact with Andriy Yarmolenko's agent over a swoop for the Ukraine midfielder.
Petr Cech remains their one big-name signing this summer after he transferred from Chelsea in a £10m deal.
