That Frenchman, who has been on Arsene Wenger's radar for a number of years, is expected to cost the Gunners £45million.
Meanwhile, Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb claim Arsenal are lining up a move for Olympiakos goalkeeper Roberto Jimenez Gago.
Wenger is keen on the 29-year-old Spaniard after loaning out both Wojciech Szczesny and Emiliano Martinez to Roma and Wolves, respectively, this summer.
And finally, the Gunners look to miss out on Stuttgart defender Antonio Rudiger with Chelsea closing in on a summer deal.
That is according to talkSPORT, who claim the Blues are lining up a £20m bid after Roma failed in their season-long loan bid.
