HE MAY only be 17-months-old, but Eric Cowell is already the spitting image of his famous father

 

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini shared an adorable photo of Simon Cowell and his only son on her Instagram page last night and it couldn't have been cuter.

Captioned: "Simon and his mini-me," the snap shows Simon and Eric sitting in a gold buggy wearing identical outfits.

 

Simon, 55, is wearing his usual attire of blue jeans and a white T-shirt, and it seems he likes to dress young Eric the same.

The tot has his hand on the steering wheel as Simon holds onto him and grins for the camera.

It's unsure where the picture was taken, but Simon and Cheryl, 32, are currently filming the latest series of The X Factor.

Simon - who became a father on Valentine's Day last year with partner Lauren Silverman - recently spoke out about his son and said he's worried he won't be able to speak properly.

"He spends most of his time with Squiddly and Diddly. He is going to end up barking.," he told the Daily Star.

He added: "I have no idea what he is going to talk like, because his mum is American, I am English and a lot of the girls in my house are from the Philippines."

He also admitted that he loves being a father because he can really see himself in young Eric.

"I can really see me in him now," the music mogul added.
