HE'S one of the baddest boys in soap land, but Emmerdale's Michael Parr has revealed he would actually rather play the villain than a goody two shoes.
Speaking to Rochelle and Marvin Humes on This Morning today, the 28-year-old actor said he's not entirely sure why he always gets picked to be the baddie.
"It's gonna be up there with the biggest week in soap history. There's gonna be stunts, explosions, people breaking up, maybe a few people who don't make it…" Michael said of the upcoming episodes. "I don't want to give too much away but obviously Debbie Dingle now wants to marry Pete and Ross isn't happy with that so there's a wedding, and will Ross break them up? You'll just have to tune in." When asked if Ross will simply walk away, Michael replied: "It's Ross, he wouldn't walk away. He's not going to let anyone have a happy ending if he's not having one!" Adding that he has been sworn to secrecy not to reveal anything about next week, Michael said of Ross' future: "He'll just be more trouble, but you'll just have to wait and see if he survives. He might not."
But it's not just on the small screen that Michael finds himself being a bit of a bad boy, and he also revealed he gets in trouble on social networking site Twitter.
"It gets me in trouble all the time, but I'm only ever joking," he explained. "If someone takes a shot at me, you take a swing, I'll swing back."
Michael also admitted that he's not entirely comfortable with being branded one of the sexiest men in soap land.
"It's like flattering and insulting at the same time," he told Marvin and Rochelle. "Because I want to be known for my acting, but hey, 'you look good!' I'll take it!"
Emmerdale continues on ITV1 tonight at 7pm.
"I've played a few dodgy characters in my time," he told them. "But I think it's much better to be the James Bond villain than actually play Bond, I don't know why. I'd much rather be a villain."

When Rochelle suggested he could be in the next Bond film, Michael joked: "If they throw it my way, I'll think about it."
Lancaster-born Michael currently plays Ross Barton in Emmerdale, and is at the centre of the soap's disaster week storyline which begins next week.
