Disney’s Chief Creative Officer John Lasseter spilled the beans live on US television.
“It’s a love story with Woody and—and this is news—Bo Peep,” he revealed, on CNBC’s Squawk on the Street.
Lasseter insisted that the romance between the stoic sherriff and the nursery rhyme doll is the story that the Pixar team is most excited to tell.
“At Pixar and at Disney, we only make sequels if we come up with a story that’s as good or better than the original,” Lasseter said.
“It’s a love story with Woody and—and this is news—Bo Peep,” he revealed, on CNBC’s Squawk on the Street.
