SALOMON RONDON stole a late point for West Brom after Gylfi Sigurdsson looked to have won a dull game for Swansea.

West Brom 1 - Swansea 1: Rondon's late strike saves Baggies as Berahino booed
Rondon's enterprising performance was finally rewarded with a late goal

Sigurdsson had tucked the ball away from 12 yards apparently to seal a win but Rondon popped up in stoppage time to Swansea took only a point back to south Wales.
The first half provided little in the way of entertainment as West Brom attempted to bully Swansea's defence by aiming long balls at Salomon Rondon.
The best chance of the half coming from a farcical free-kick routine which culminated in Stephane Sessegnon swinging it in but Craig Dawson failed to hit the target from six yards.

West Brom 1 - Swansea 1: Rondon's late strike saves Baggies as Berahino booed
Berahino came on as a substitute to a mixed reception at The Hawthorns

A concussion to Ki Sung-yueng gave Alberto Paloschi his debut from the bench before the break.
Jonny Evans was removed after half-time with a hamstring complaint but the most significant substitution of the night was that which saw Saido Berahino replace Stephane Sessegnon.
The England Under-21 was booed on his way on, and it got worse for West Brom a minute later as they went behind.

Paloschi surged into the box but was tackled, only for the ball to break to Sigurdsson who finished with aplomb.
Tony Pulis sent on Victor Anichebe in an effort to pull West Brom back into the game, but it was Swansea who nearly scored, Paloschi almost crowning a fine debut with a goal when he connected with a Kyle Naughton cross but he found only the post
But with the Baggies apparently dead and buried, Rondon stabbed the ball home from two yards to grab a point for West Brom.
