Samsung will unveil its next-generation smartphones – Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge – at Mobile World Congress.
The South Korean firm published a teaser video for its Unpacked 2016 press event on Sunday February 21 in Barcelona, Spain.
The 14-second teaser shows a man putting on a Samsung Gear VR headset, gazing around in wonder at a series of floating cubes.
Samsung is using the social hashtag #TheNextGalaxy to plug the event.
Whether or not the technology firm has some virtual reality announcements to share alongside its two new flagship smartphones, remain to be seen.
However Samsung is live-streaming the Barcelona announcement to fans across the globe who, presumably, will be able to watch with existing Samsung Gear VR hardware.
The latest rumours for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge point to a dust and water-proof case, bigger batteries, improved cameras and the return of expandable storage via microSD card.

Combined with the award-winning industrial design that Samsung introduced at Mobile World Congress last year, we think the new smartphones sound like a must-have.
Some rumours point to Samsung incorporating a variation of the pressure-sensitive display technology Apple incorporated into its iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.
Technology firm Synaptics is believed to be developing the cutting-edge screen that responds differently as varying levels of pressure are applied to the multitouch display.
The Galaxy S7 is expected to run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
