Ronald Koeman: Why Alexis Sanchez is a perfect player and could lead Arsenal to the title

RONALD KOEMAN claims Alexis Sanchez is perfect and admits Southampton will have their work cut out stopping him tonight.

Saints beat Arsenal 4-0 on Boxing Day at St Mary's but face a different challenge at the Emirates.

Sanchez made his first Arsenal start in months on Saturday in the 2-1 win over Burnley in the FA Cup.

He made the first and scored the winner as the Gunners moved into the fifth round.

 

And Koeman believes the Chile winger could be back just in time to help their late title charge.

“Sanchez is back and that is for them a big player who will be very important for the last part of the season,” Koeman said.

“He’s one of the players who is difficult to stop because they have so high qualities. 

"He’s fast. Technically, he’s perfect.

 

“They have more players, very good midfield players. They have Ozil.

"They have so many possibilities and players with really high quality. 

"That’s Arsenal, and that’s why Arsenal is fighting to win the title.”
