LIVINGSTON rejected a deadline day approach from Manchester United for 16-year-old Matthew Knox.

Midfielder's dad confirms Manchester United deadline day snub
Matthew Knox has been scouted by several top clubs

Knox became Livingston's youngest ever player, aged 16 years and four days, when he made his debut as a substitute against St Mirren on Boxing Day.
And the young midfielder spent last month on trial at United where he reportedly scored a fine strike past goalkeeper Victor Valdes in training.

The teenager has also spent time on trial at Liverpool, Everton and Tottenham in the past.
But his dad, Matthew, revealed Livingston are keen to keep hold him despite interest from big clubs.

He said: "Man United came back in for him on Monday and there was interest from QPR but Livi are holding on to him.
"It's a good feeling knowing that these clubs want him."
