AARON LENNON and Ross Barkley spoilt ten-man Newcastle's chances of getting out of the bottom three.

Lennon opened the scoring in the first half before Barkley scored twice from the penalty spot late on.
Jamaal Lascelles was sent of for the visitors after a foul Barkley for the second spot kick.
Lascelles had replaced Chancel Mbemba who picked up an injury earlier in the night.
Newcastle played three of their four January signings with Andros Townsend making his debut, although Seydou Doumbia remained on the bench.

A win would have taken them above Norwich and out of the drop zone but another defeat leaves them two points adrift.
Everton move up to 11th with their first league win of 2016 and since December 26 - the last time they place Newcastle.
John Stones and Tim Howard were both out of today's match day squad with Joel Robles deputising.
Romelu Lukaku was substituted at half time with an injury.
