ENGLAND will face Australia in one of three warm-up games for Roy Hodgson’s squad ahead of Euro 2016.

The Socceroos will play England on May 27 in the North East as Hodgson’s team hits the road ahead of the tournament in an attempt to generate a groundswell of support.
The game will be played at either Newcastle or Sunderland.

England will also play at Wembley and Old Trafford.
They have also lined up a friendly against Portugal as another of the games.
Wayne Rooney made his debut the last time England played Australia, a 3-1 defeat at Upton Park in 2003.
England's first game at Euro 2016 takes place in Marseille against Russia on June 11.
Hodgson's side played Spain and France last November ahead of the Euro 2016 draw, which saw them placed in Group B with Russia, Wales and Slovakia.
England already have friendlies lined up against World Cup winners Germany, in Berlin, and at Wembley against Holland next month.
