Van Gaal refuses to rule out leaving Man Utd in the summer after shock Guardiola claims

LOUIS VAN GAAL has refused to be drawn on speculation he could retire in the summer - after reports emerged that Manchester United officials had met with Pep Guardiola in Paris.

United have denied meeting with Guardiola with the understanding still being that he will go to Manchester City in the summer.

But Van Gaal's future is still in question after a difficult season.

However the Dutchman has remained firm and insists he will not talk about what could happen.

 

“This is not the business of the press," he said. 

"First you have sacked me and now you are interfering in my future.

“I have a relationship with the players and that is the most important thing. 

"What is happening in the media is a different world.”
