ANDER HERRERA is reportedly a January target for Gary Neville's Valencia and Juventus.

Two clubs battle it out in January race to land £27m Manchester United star
Ander Herrera has been linked with a move away from Manchester United

The 26-year-old attacking midfielder has failed to secure regular first-team football under Louis van Gaal and has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
And according to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, Juventus director Beppe Marotta and coach Max Allegri flew to watch Herrera in action against Chelsea on December 28.

Juve apparently sent directors Fabio Paratici and Pavel Nedved to watch the Spanish international in the 2-1 win over Swansea on January 2.
The Serie A giants are believed to be interested in signing a midfielder in January, with Borussia Dortmund's Ilkay Gundogan their top target.
However, Dortmund are said to be reluctant to sell their star man meaning Juventus will instead pursue Herrera, but will have to cough up at least £27million to secure his services.

The Daily Star claim that Valencia are interested in securing a loan deal for Herrera, with Neville holding talks with owner Peter Lim over their transfer plans.
Neville has had poor start to life as a coach and the signing of Herrera would perhaps help him to turn things around.
Herrera has made 18 appearances for United this season and has scored three goals.
