Manchester United handed hope in Neymar transfer pursuit

Manchester United’s pursuit of Neymar has been given a major boost by Barcelona’s reported targeting of Paulo Dybala.
The Juventus forward signed for Juve in the summer for £24.3million from Palermo and has made an instant impact at the club.
The 22-year-old already has 15 goals to his name this season and The Sun are now claiming that Barca are willing to pay £45m to get him to Spain.

And reports stress that Dybala’s move will be to provide a replacement for one of the ‘MSN’ frontline of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and United target Neymar.
The Manchester club made a bid for Neymar on transfer deadline day in the summer but were unsuccessful.
The Brazilian superstar has also admitted he would love to play under Pep Guardiola one day who is also a target for United.

Saido Berahino, Loic Remy and Neymar

And although Neymar is contracted with Barcelona until 2018, his failure to sign a new deal has Catalan fans worried about his future.
Should Barca have a bid accepted for Dybala, United will surely once again step up their interest in the Spanish club’s man.

Loic Remy on way out as Chelsea accept £11.5m bid

Chelsea have accepted an offer from Leicester City for Loic Remy, according to reports.

The 29-year-old joined the Blues from QPR in 2014 but has struggled for form this season with just three goals to his name.
Newcastle and Aston Villa have both expressed an interest in the player but according to talkSPORT’s Ben Jacobs Leicester have beaten both clubs to the striker.
Claudio Ranieri had originally wanted to sign Remy on loan but Chelsea would only accept a permanent transfer and a fee of £11.5m has now reportedly been agreed.

Newcastle set to beat Tottenham to Saido Berahino with £18m bid

Newcastle will attempt to sign Saido Berahino over the weekend before the transfer window slams shut on Monday night.
Express Sport understands the Magpies are ready to make a new £18m offer and have not been put off by chairman Jeremy Peace’s insistence that the player is not for sale.

Berahino was the subject of serious interest from Tottenham last summer submitting a transfer request on deadline day.
But West Brom rejected it, leading to a spat which has seen Berahino dropped to the under-21s and his first-team opportunities limited mostly to sitting on the bench.
And with Newcastle in the relegation zone, Steve McClaren is desperate to sign a striker whose goals can ensure his side do not miss out on next year’s bumper TV sponsorship deal with a second relegation from the Premier League.
