Liverpool are preparing a double raid for Fiorentina duo Giuseppe Rossi and Mario Suarez, according to reports.
Rossi and Suarez have both been linked with a move away from Serie A after falling down the pecking order under Paulo Sousa.
And Jurgen Klopp could make a move for both of them during the transfer window, claims Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport.
Manchester United are understood to be considering a move for Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia.
The 29-year-old has attracted interest from the Red Devils and rivals Liverpool with Italian outlet Gazzetta World reporting he could be available for around £26million.
Both clubs are reportedly willing to pay the required amount to lure him away from Italy.

And according to the Metro, the Blues are willing to make a move for the striker if Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao depart Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Celta Vigo forward Nolito.
The Gunners have shown interest in the striker in recent weeks ahead of a proposed move but according to Spanish outlet Sport, Nolito is ignoring interest from Arsenal.
The 29-year-old is reportedly in favour of a return to Barcelona instead of a move to the Premier League.
Nolito, who is valued at around £21m, is contracted at Celta Vigo until the summer of 2019.
