NACER CHADLI has told Mauricio Pochettino he can be his second striker.
Tottenham are looking at boosting their forward line and are expected to move for Saido Berahino again before Monday's deadline.
But Chadli, normally a winger, insists he could fill the void if main man Harry Kane needs a rest.
“I can play in all three positions up front and the manager knows that,” said Chadli, who has scored twice in his last two matches.
“It’s good that I can be versatile. I haven’t played in the position very often.
"Apart from in pre-season, the FA Cup game at Leicester last week was the first time I had done so.
"But I like it. I like to be close to the goal, to attack the goal, so for me it is fine.”
Chadli has scored 21 goals in 99 Tottenham games and will be involved when they play Colchester in the FA Cup fourth round tomorrow.
