Swansea have made a bid of £8million for Chievo's Alberto Paloschi as they step up their bid to land a striker before the transfer window closes.

The 26-year-old has scored eight goals in 21 appearances in Serie A this season and is also attracting interest from clubs in his homeland.
Swansea have managed to bring in Falkirk midfielder Ryan Blair.
The 19-year-old has signed a three-and-a-half year deal at the Liberty Stadium and will join the club's Under-21 setup.
