A first-half header was enough to separate the two sides as new head coach Francesco Guidolin watched on from the stands.
Swansea had gone into the game searching for their first win in four, and they went settled any lingering nerves when they took the lead after 27 minutes.
Ki Sung-Yeung found space on the flank and his delivery was met with a thumping header by Williams.
Watford thought they had equalised just two minutes from the end, but Jurado sent his scuffed volley just wide of the post.
Swansea jumped out of the relegation zone courtesy of this result.
