LUCA TONI has hit out at Louis van Gaal over his treatment of him during their time together at Bayern Munich.

Striker hits out at under-fire Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal
Toni has resurrected his career since his unhappy Bayern departure

The 38-year-old striker spent three years at Bayern scoring 58 goals in 88 appearances, and is now plying his trade for Verona.
But the former Italy international has revealed that while he was playing in Germany Van Gaal made his life a misery.
"Van Gaal hates Latin players," Toni told Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

"At Bayern he looked for any chance to fight with me, Ribery and Lucio because fans loved us."
Toni had won the league and cup double with Munich in 2007-08 but was frozen out of the side when Van Gaal arrived in Germany in 2009.
Munich eventually announced that they would allow Toni to leave on a free transfer, but he left before his contract expired on loan to Roma.

And the 6ft 4in goalscorer's career never entirely recovered until four years later when he arrived at Verona for whom he has scored 48 goals in 85 games.
Van Gaal on the other hand won a domestic treble in 2009-10 before leaving the club in 2011.
Toni's accusation comes as the Dutch manager finds himself under severe pressure at Manchester United after crashing out of the Champions League at the group stage.
