MARIO BALOTELLI could still return to Liverpool when his loan to AC Milan is up.

Shock Liverpool return for striker ‘possible’ under Jurgen Klopp claims agent
Balotelli is still contracted to Liverpool but had been expected to leave the club permanently

The 25-year-old striker was signed from Milan by Brendan Rodgers in 2014 for £16million but managed only four goals in 28 appearances in a turbulent season.
The Italian returned to Milan last summer on loan in an effort to resurrect his career after a difficult spell in England.
And while it is expected that Balotelli will leave Liverpool when the loan ends, his agent Mino Raiola has hinted that he could go back to Anfield.

“In theory it's possible, that's what his contract says,” he told Sky Sports. “He's a Liverpool player and in June he should return to England.
“I don't know if Klopp is thinking of using Mario for his project, we haven't discussed the matter.
“It's early, but if Balotelli does what he knows best then they could change their minds about him.

“He had no room to develop under Rodgers and we were forced to leave.
“Mario's qualities are beyond dispute but it's important to have a coach who believes in you and who gives you a chance to show what you're worth. When the time comes, we'll discuss the matter with Klopp.”
Balotelli scored his first goal of the season in his fourth game back in Milan in September, but suffered a groin injury a week later that required surgery and has yet to return to the side.
