CHELSEA striker Radamel Falcao has revealed he is close to returning from the thigh injury that’s kept him out since October.
The 29-year-old Colombian striker has only managed to score once in 11 appearances since he arrived on loan from Monaco last summer.
The Telegraph reports that Monaco are again looking to bring him back to France in a bid to try and get him fit for the end of the Ligue 1 season.
Monaco had recently ruled out recalling Falcao because of his injury problems but he has now wrote on Instagram that he would “return to normal soon.”
News News Blog Sport understands that Chelsea are on the verge of signing Alexandre Pato as Blues striker Loic Remy remains linked with a January move to a Premier League rival.

Falcao’s future at Stamford Bridge remains uncertain but he’s provided an update on his fitness.
He wrote: “Working on my recovery. I think everything will return to normal soon by working with doctors and physios.
“Thanks to everyone for the support. Thanks for the medic Staff. I really appreciate the social media messages that you send me.”
Falcao first arrived in England on a loan deal with Manchester United last season but only scored four times in a difficult campaign.
Jose Mourinho brought him to Chelsea last July on a season-long loan deal but Guus Hiddink’s arrival in West London has fuelled speculation of his exit from the Blues.
