SCUNTHORPE boss Mark Robins was upset the Irons weren't awarded a penalty in their 2-0 defeat at Chelsea in the third-round of the FA Cup.
With the score at 1-0, Kevin van Veen drove into the penalty box when Ramires clipped his heels.
The Dutchman and everyone cheering for the Iron shrieked penalty! But referee Craig Pawson waved away any appeals and Chelsea blew a huge sigh of relief.
Ramires' challenge on Van Even came after an hour, minutes before the Blues moved 2-0 ahead, and Robins shrugged his shoulders - admitting it was a call you're unlikely to get as an underdog in a huge Premier League stadium.
"The analyst said he clipped a heel and it is a penalty," said Robins.
"But it's just one of those things when you come to places like this. Sometimes you get the decision from the referee and we haven't had it today."
Jordan Clarke struck the outside of Asmir Begovic's post in the final minutes with a pile-driver from just outside the area.
Chelsea survived a few other minor scares on an uncomfortable afternoon in West London.
Robins added: "Second half we wanted to have a real go and have no regrets come the end of the game.
"I felt we gave a real good account of ourselves and tried, had one or two opportunities and the goalkeeper's made some good saves."
Robins was, however, unhappy with his team's efforts in the first half as they made life far too easy for Chelsea.
"We gave them far too much respect in the first half," he said. "Initially we couldn't get out because we kept giving the ball away.
"But we grew into it. They went a goal up and from then on, you're trying to get out and trying get a foot hold.
"And then we grew into it. We created a couple of efforts on goal and got ourselves into decent positions to force a few corners."
