COLORADO RAPIDS want to take Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard back to the MLS.
The Rapids have targeted the veteran keeper as they look to make a high-profile signing.
Everton manager Roberto Martinez said this week it was “impossible” to make assurances over Howard’s long-term future.
Howard, 36, has found himself under scrutiny from supporters recently, but was excellent in the goalless draw with Manchester City this week and will face Chelsea on Saturday.
A January move would leave Everton short of a goalkeeper themselves, but American international Howard could commit to return in the summer for the second half of the MLS season.
